RolaTec peristaltic pumps are manufactured and assembled in the United States. We guarantee the quality of our pumps and provide engineering services whether you're purchasing 1 pump head for prototype work, or thousands of pumps for an OEM application.

Standard pump heads have fixed rollers with positive displacement flow at 20 PSI head pressure with 1/8" wall tubing. At 440 RPMs with 3/8" ID tubing the flow rate is 6.5 liters / min. Offer peristaltic pumps with rotors having spring loaded rollers that will also move 6.5 liters / minute. Also offer optional high pressure peristaltic pumps with positive displacement flow at 50 PSI head pressure when using 3/8" ID tubing. Max flow rate for high the pressure pumps is 3.0 liters / minute. Some uses include chemical and abrasive slurry transfer, dispensing food products, inks, paints, glues, coatings, corrosive chemicals and sterile fluids.

Optional Spring Loaded Roller Design

Spring Loaded RollersThe patented spring loaded rollers design (US Patent # 5,110,270), is an option for RolaTec peristaltic pumps. There is just one torsion spring at the center of the rotor that spring loads all four rollers. The radial motion of the rollers are linked, so if one roller is pushed in, the rest of the rollers move in a corresponding manner to maintain optimum radial position based upon the wall thickness of the peristaltic tubing being used.

The spring loaded rollers allow the pump to accept tubes with wall sizes ranging from 1/16" to 1/8" thick in an efficient manner.

For 1/8" wall tubing (50 Durometer Shore A) the radial position of the rollers will bottom out against a stop to allow positive displacement operation at 15 PSI head pressure. For 3/32" wall tubing the spring rollers perform as a pressure relief valve by allowing a maximum line pressure of 20 PSI when flow is restricted and operates in a positive displacement manner up to 10 PSI head pressure when flow is partially restricted.
